Growing up in rural Monrovia, Maryland, he developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a passion for sustainable living, disaster preparedness, and hands-on craftsmanship.

A man of many pursuits, Steven finds joy in reading, fishing, boating, exercising, gardening, sport shooting, micro-farming, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, outdoor cooking, building, and woodworking. His curiosity and drive to learn have shaped every chapter of his journey.

Starting his career in carpentry as a teenager, Steven has spent more than two decades mastering the trades. His experience however, extends beyond the jobsite — with years in management, sales, and over a decade as a licensed Real Estate Agent specializing in farmland and waterfront properties. Today, he brings all of his knowledge and passions together into one purpose-driven business.

Steven’s greatest source of pride is his family — his wife Lauren, of over 12 years, and two children, Jacob and Logan. Together, they live on a beautiful property that borders his mother’s land, creating a multi-acre family compound where generations live, work, and grow side by side. It’s a modern-day example of “it takes a village” — a place rooted in love, learning, and legacy.
